First Travel To Cebu By A Plane

This was my first travel alone to Cebu by a plane and my first time entering the Francisco Bangoy International Airport here in Davao.ajajaj. My mom and my friend Ian convey me to the airport early in the morning. The moment was unforgettable because I need to prepare myself to follow my king going to Cebu. My king had his trip going to Cebu because of work and the company shoulders his fare even his stay in hotel. My king extend his stay in Cebu after their meetup with his remote co-workers from Cebu so we could have a vacation together. I was very lucky because My King paid all my travel expenses going there but at least I brought  pocket money for emergency. Despite of being scared going alone I managed myself to travel without no one to rely on. From the moment I entered the Davao airport was the time when I already alone. I'm not shy to ask someone about the directions and what to do next it's because I don't want to ride on a wrong plane.

Reminders When Traveling:

1.Only carry a baggage that's handy when traveling; no need to carry all belongings inside the closet.
2. Need to have a load because texting or calling is a must.
3.The phone batteries is need to be fully charged.
4.Bring extra money as always needed because we don't know how much the cost of living in a different places.
5.Bring a handy camera or even your smartphones that fully charged for capturing memories.
6. The most important thing is to be courageous to ask someone who knows the place.

Magellan's Cross

Magellan's Cross is a Christian cross planted by Portuguese, and Spanish explorers as ordered by Ferdinand Magellan upon arriving in Cebu in the Philippines on March 15, 1521.
This cross is housed in a chapel next to the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño on Magallanes Street (Magallanes being the Spanish name of Magellan), just in front of the city center of Cebu City. A sign below the cross describes the original cross is encased inside the wooden cross that is found in the center of the chapel. This is to protect the original cross from people who chipped away parts of the cross for souvenir purposes or in the belief that the cross possesses miraculous powers.[3] Some people, however, believe that the original cross had been destroyed or had disappeared after Magellan's death, and the cross is a replica that was planted there by the Spaniards after they successfully colonized the Philippines.

  1. Hello Melissa, Thanks for dropping my blog. So far I have two hotels in mind; The Hotel Asia and Tune Hotel in Cebu. It's affordable compare to other hotels; but I don't know if there are other affordable hotels aside of the two that I mentioned. The hotel Asia is a little bit far from the Cebu IT Park and malls. You need to ride a taxi or a jeep whereas the Tune Hotel where I stayed before is a walking distance from a mall or you can also walk going to Cebu It park when you want to explore Cebu. Thanks
