Plot

Deokman (Queen Seondeok’s childhood name) was born a twin but was abandoned as a baby. She was later brought back to the Silla palace, where she joined forces with her twin sister Princess Chonmyong to oppose Mi-shil, who wanted to seize power. Mi-shil devised sinister plans to have the two Silla princesses exiled from the kingdom, and in a secretive battle, Princess Chonmyong was assassinated by Mi-shil. But Princess Deokman shrewdly enlisted the help of General Kim Yusin and eliminated her archenemy Mi-shil. She became the first female ruler of the Silla kingdom.

Based on the life of Queen Seondeok of Silla (ruled 632-647).

Due to extremely high television ratings "The Great Queen Seondeok" has been expanded from 50 episodes to 62 episodes.

I've learned many things about this kdrama. There are many things on this world that we can't control even if we have the courage to do it, but the situations not let it happen.

My Reviews:

It's been 2 years since I'm done watching this kdrama Empress Ki. But even years had passed I can still remember the story. This is one of my favorite Korean drama of all time. Being in a higher position to rule the whole nation is not easy. Character, techniques, intelligent and with the heart to the people is a must. A great woman in the past is very rare to find this is why most of the great women before are now in history because of high impact that they import to the nation.

My Reviews:

This korean drama is worth watching. My curiosity about how an empire rule before even not just korean history but all around the world. This kdrama shows about life, love, palace and politics. If love strikes even for a King, he would willing to sacrifice his crown to save his woman and family. Sometimes having great power is not good because it will cause chaos and unjust judgment for life.  Even in the past, dirty works in politics is already there. As what the poem says " It's not the birthright that holds a power it mattered with a heart".

Plot

Dan-Bi (Kim Seul-Gi) is a senior high school student. She has a special ability which allows her to transport to anywhere on rainy days. For her university entrance exam, Dan-Bi can't deal with the pressure and runs off to a playground. Without knowing why, she goes into a puddle and finds herself transported to the Joseon period. There, she meets Lee Do (Yoon Doo-Joon). He is a young King of the Joseon period. Lee Do is in a difficult situation due to droughts and the spread of an epidemic.

This is the first Korean drama I watched this year. The plot of the story is very exciting, funny and delightful in heart and soul. This story reminds me of Rooftop Prince Kdrama and the anime Fushigi Yuugi in which they both travel in time. Too bad this kdrama ended so fast for having only 2 episodes. I want more episodes of this story jajaja ^_^. I did imagine a story like this even before and wanted to happen this kind of story to me. This is always happen to me for always watching fiction stories but I know it's impossible. I'm just pampering myself since I know we are free to create our own story in mind so be it.  Hoping for more of this romance comedy in the future. Saranghae ^_^
